ALD was refereed to us by a local plumbing company. Steve was honest in all of his explanations on the process and what he may or may not be able to do for us in finding the issue. He was able to find the problem for our irrigation company to come out and make the repairs. I gotta say, American Leak Detection sure got a good person when they hired Dave; simply a down to earth real guy, VERY pleasant, and quite helpful. I was out of town when I got an email about water running from the Water Dept., I called first thing Monday morning and Dave happened to be able to get to me within about an hour or so. He services my area frequently, so his knowledge was welcome to a new home owner in the Citrus area. Dave set about methodically narrowing down the culprit, and fortunately it wound up just being a leaking valve in the bathroom I currently don't use. In minutes, no joke, Dave honed right in on it and it wound up being a minor thing after all. So, a simple valve change and it's fine. At first, the $400 fee to come out is, well, it is what it is, however, neither Dave nor I knew what to expect and it could have been a nightmare. So I choose to see it as a blessing that it wound up being a minor thing. Besides, I met a great person that I'd actually request if I had any future issues. The tidbits of area info I gleaned from Dave added genuine value and some peace of mind. This gent clearly has the experience you'd want if you DO find yourself in a panic with a leak. Give these folks a call, and if you're lucky, you'll get Dave and you'll be in good hands. It was great meeting you, Dave!
